About The Position

Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist

• Reliable transportation
• Current driver's license
• Agency-required liability insurance
• Recent home health experience

Description :

Home visits are required for this position.

There will be periodic office meetings.

The average number of patients per day will be 5 to 6.

The contractor will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6 to 8 points.

Each type of visit and activity (documentation, travel, etc.) holds a different point value.

In a situation where the contractor is unable to meet their financial needs due to low patient census, they should reach out to discuss floating to a nearby clinic to pick up hours.

Types of cases include start of care and follow-ups.

Weekend requirements vary per location and profession.

The contractor must be willing to travel up to 75 miles.

Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.

The contractor will not be compensated for the commute to and from the first and last patient.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.

The contractor should be comfortable with potentially long drives between patients.

Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient.

No guaranteed hours are provided with this contract.

The contractor must achieve a minimum of 30 weekly productivity points.

All overtime must be pre-approved.

If the contractor does not receive enough patients each week, they will have the opportunity to work at another nearby location to pick up patients.

Experience in home health is required.
