Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence / Patient Care

• Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines, policies, procedures and standards of Medical Imaging to assigned patients of all ages.
• Exhibits competency in performing diagnostic imaging and radionuclide therapy
• Completes scheduling, ordering radiopharmaceutical and patient preparation guidelines
• Performs and documents administrations of all Radiopharmaceuticals
• Maintains quality care throughout the procedure practicing radiation protection maintaining personal exposure ALARA
• Performs required equipment quality control
• Documents quality control records and images camera floods
• Follows all conditions of MMCI radioactive material license and IDNS regulations
• Completes all radiation safety documentation
• Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to obtain adequate lab specimens for testing.
• Performs patient bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with medical provider's orders and hospital lab procedures / policies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $37.08per hour - $63.78per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
