About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Design to spearhead the creation of a unique product that blends elements of game design, AI, and health. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience, with a focus on fostering co-created, playful interactions rather than traditional, prescriptive approaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of designers, building a cohesive design system that encourages creativity, and designing user flows that prioritize a sense of play. Additionally, the Head of Design will be instrumental in driving the company's design strategy, including hiring and team development.

Candidates for the Head of Design position should have 5-10 years' experience leading design teams, particularly in startup, game, or hybrid UX / productivity environments. A strong background in UX and interaction design is essential, with proficiency in Figma and generative AI tools. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative systems thinker with a design philosophy influenced by game mechanics. The role requires a visionary leader who can balance the creative and cohesive aspects of design, and who is passionate about creating user experiences that are engaging, adaptive, and promote a sense of well-being.
