About the Company

Care Strategies LLC is a locally owned, Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing provider with locations in Muncie, Loogootee and Vincennes Indiana. We are currently accepting applications for Director of Nursing at our dementia facility, Sycamore Care Strategies located in the town of Loogootee in southern Indiana.

About the Role

The primary purpose of the director of nursing is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the nursing services department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility. The director of nursing may be directed by the administrator and the medical director to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Director of Nursing Services will delegate the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties. In the absence of a medical director, the Director of Nursing will be in charge of carrying out the resident care policies established by the facility.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Experience in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing are preferred.

Preferred Skills

I have an interest and / or experience in Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care plus a desire to take it to the next level as a Director of Nursing.
