Job Description Summary :

Provide strategic leadership for investment analysis, manager oversight, and portfolio performance across Transamerica Asset Management's suite of investment products. Drive innovation in investment processes and serve as a senior leader contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives and governance.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and execution of investment management strategy across mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, separately managed accounts, and collective investment trusts.
• Establish and implement advanced methodologies for manager selection, monitoring, and performance evaluation under the manager-of-managers framework.
• Apply modern portfolio analytics including attribution, factor analysis, and alpha generation to enhance fund performance and risk-adjusted returns.
• Communicate investment strategy, positioning, and performance to distribution, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
• Collaborate with product development and product management teams to align investment capabilities with market opportunities.
• Oversee preparation of materials for annual contract renewals and presentations to the Mutual Fund Board of Independent Trustees.
• Author investment insights and commentary for external audiences including financial professionals, media, and the general public.
• Serve as a member of the Mutual Fund Management Committee and actively participate in board-level meetings.
• Engage with senior leaders across the organization to support strategic goals and cross-functional initiatives.
• May lead enterprise-wide investment projects or represent the firm in external forums and industry groups.

Qualifications :

Working Conditions :

The salary for this position generally ranges between $288,750 - $325,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at the Company's discretion.
