POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Tech is responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, diagnosing and the repair of refrigeration leaks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems;
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions;
- Identify and repair refrigeration leaks;
- Execute equipment repairs and replace units when required;
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels in the service vehicle for daily operations;
- Verify that customers' coolers and freezers are functioning at optimal temperatures;
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the service vehicle;
- Implement preventative maintenance procedures to ensure system longevity;
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns;
- Ensure logbooks are kept up to date;
- Document service calls and maintenance activities in detail for accurate record-keeping;
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices;
- Calibrate and adjust control systems to ensure optimal performance; and,
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
