Lake Eustis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional care to our residents. As an SLP, you will plan, implement, and oversee speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with physician orders, state and federal regulations, and the standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement individualized speech-language pathology and audiology plans for residents.
Monitor, document, and report service outcomes to the rehabilitation director.
Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and coding for all services provided.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, health inspection requirements, and all relevant regulations.
Promote safe practices and prevent accidents to protect staff and residents.
Supervise and support department staff, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
Maintain and sanitize all therapy equipment according to facility protocols.
Participate in safety drills, trainings, and emergency preparedness activities.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Complete required training and skills competency as a condition of employment.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active Florida license and ASHA certification.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to speech-language pathology and audiology.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient approach to resident care.
Ability to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
