Lead Project Engineer

Overview

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a leading manufacturing client on the west side of Nashville seeking a Project Engineer with a focus in manufacturing and new product introduction (NPI). This is a direct hire opportunity offering up to $120,000 annually plus bonus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage CapEx projects from initial concept through full implementation, focusing on new product launches and manufacturing improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership to ensure alignment across all project phases.
• Define project scope, develop detailed schedules, track milestones, and manage budgets.
• Lead vendor selection and relationship management, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
• Oversee plant layout updates, equipment design modifications, and technical implementations.
• Analyze project risks, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare reports, track KPIs, and present project updates to upper management and cross-departmental teams.
• Act as a key liaison between technical engineering teams and business leadership to ensure project objectives are met.
