Quality Manager

Location : Main Plant in Brooklyn, OH

Pay : $85k-$100k base

Position Overview

The Quality Manager will oversee and manage the quality assurance processes within the manufacturing environment, ensuring that products meet the required standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and improving overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess quality performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to improve product quality.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and best practices in manufacturing and plating processes.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality control activities, including reports, procedures, and certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics or automotive sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, including IATF certification requirements.
  • Experience with plating processes and their quality implications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects and drive improvements.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage a team and interact with various stakeholders.
