Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night ICU position requiring TN or compact license, AHA BLS / ACLS / NIH certification, and ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital ICU setting
  • Night shifts are 3x12 or 4x4 hour shifts from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in length
  • Four weekend shifts required per schedule period
  • No call required
  • Floating to PCU and occasional Med / Surg may be required
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • General orientation begins on Sunday, including required online modules
  • 16 hours of non-billable orientation included
  • Participation in nursing student support and clinical education is expected alongside patient care
  • All modules completed during orientation average 4-5 hours and are recorded electronically

  • Active TN or compact RN license in hand
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU RN experience required
  • AHA certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
  • Fit testing requires facial hair to be trimmed or removed
  • Drug screening must be completed 12-14 days prior to start and candidate must be available for repeat testing if necessary
