Supervisor, Rehab Services Inpatient

What You Will Do

• Directs and supervises staff including : scheduling, mentoring, coaching, counseling and performance reviews.
• Oversees day-to-day unit activities including : patient scheduling, patient assignments; procurement of supplies / equipment; unit space -environment; relationships with other staff, physicians, departments, etc.
• Follows up with patients concerns and coordinates with and assists Rehab manager with Root Cause Analysis & problem solving
• Provides patient care at Staff Therapist level as required and as directed
• Build and ensures an on going strong team.
• Responds to patient and or physician inquires, feedback, satisfaction
• Appropriate working knowledge of UH systems and software programs
• Monitors patient and staff across programs, sites, including inpatient, outpatient and home care
• Responsible for the integration and compliance of system policies, procedures, Joint Commission standards, practice issues, corporate integrity, hospital, rehab initiatives, billing practices, throughout the various practice settings, etc.
• Collaborates and develops with accounting team and finance department, in budget planning and on-going monitoring.
• Provides support and assistance to the Rehab Manager with planning, implementation of new programs, additional locations, business opportunities. Provides patient care at Staff Therapist level or above.
