Class B CDL Garbage Truck Driver

Are you a safety-conscious driver looking for a stable, full-time career with great pay, benefits, and the chance to be home every night? LeMay Centralia, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Class B CDL Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in Centralia, WA.

Previous waste industry experience is a big plusbut not required. We're happy to train the right person!

The schedule is MondayFriday, from 5am-1 : 30pm or 3 : 30pm (pending routes) and occasional Saturdays as needed.

The starting pay $27-28 / hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience is preferred but not required.
• Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading, sometimes without assistance.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Working Conditions and Physical Effort :
• Requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
• Work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet and / or humid environments, as well as fumes and vibrations.
