MedCadre is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a local contract job in Eugene, Oregon.

Position : Pharmacist, Full Time - PERMANENT

Location : Eugene, OR - 97404

Start Date : ASAP

Pay Rate : $65.00–$70.00 / hr

Shift : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

Position Summary :

The Pharmacist will play a key role in medication management, patient education, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for professionals committed to safety, accuracy, and quality care in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
  • Accurately dispense medications per legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) to improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitor treatment progress and recommend medication adjustments.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently, ensuring availability and minimizing waste.
  • Provide education related to physiology and medication therapy.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited program.
  • Active Pharmacist License in Oregon.
  • Solid understanding of clinical pharmacy principles and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and inventory management skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of PioneerRx software.
  • Experience with compounding medications.

    • Schedule & Work Hours :

  • Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM
  • 30-minute unpaid break
