Overview
Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (Flightline & Depot Level Maintenance)
Responsibilities
- Inspections and testing : Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks, and inspect airframes, engines, and other systems for cracks, corrosion, or other defects.
- Maintenance and repair : Perform repairs and servicing on all aircraft mechanical systems, including removing, installing, and troubleshooting components related to airframes, engines, landing gear, and control systems.
- Documentation and compliance : Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other necessary paperwork in a timely manner. Ensure all work meets Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Troubleshooting : Analyze blueprints, work orders, and sketches to diagnose and repair mechanical issues based on visual inspections or pilot reports.
- Ground support : Operate ground support equipment, coordinate the movement of aircraft, and oversee the use of special support equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Must have a minimum of 8 plus years of experience with at least 2-3 years of Gulfstream G550 aircraft flightline and depot maintenance experience.Airframe & Powerplant license is preferred but not required.Other Requirements
Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems (for example, C-130).Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Tooling Required : Shadow & Engraved Tools. Tool list required.Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand on ladders for long periods of time, and fit in small spaces.Employment Compliance Requirements
