    • \n\nER Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Connecticut RN license preferred (temporary license process available)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required\n
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications\n
  • Current NVCIT (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training) certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire\n
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment\n

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting\n
  • Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and behavioral health needs\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Accurately document patient care using Cerner MedSeries4\n
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in stroke care protocols\n
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices in emergency nursing\n
