Position Overview
As an Athletic Trainer, youll work under the supervision of a physician to provide comprehensive injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation services. Apply preventative care techniques and supportive devices for sports-related injuriesGuide injured athletes through conditioning and reconditioning programsCommunicate effectively with physicians, coaches, and familiesProvide event coverage and emergency response as scheduledEducate school staff and athletes on injury preventionDocument care plans and progress accuratelyMaintain flexible work locations and schedules based on athletic and clinical needsQualifications
Education :
Bachelors in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field (Required)Masters preferredLicensure / Certification :New York State Certified Athletic Trainer (Required)NATABOC CertificationBLS Certification (completed during clinical orientation)Experience :
