You will be tasked with fixing and maintaining fire controls for mounted artillery, as well as troubleshooting problems with suspension, steering, and controls.
The ideal candidate must be a U.S.
citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card, aged 17 to 34 years old, holding a High School Diploma or GED.
Additionally, candidates must meet specific tattoo guidelines, have no major law violations, and no medical concerns.
To succeed in this role, you will undergo rigorous testing and certification programs, acquiring 104 nationally recognized certifications, completing 10 weeks of basic training, and 12 weeks of advanced individual training.
You will also need to achieve a minimum ASVAB score of 99 in Mechanical Maintenance (MM) or an ASVAB score of 90 in General Technical (GT).
Upon completion, you will master skills in maintenance and repairs, engines and machinery, and diagrams and schematics.
