• Provide direct instruction to students
• Function as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide core Academic Support instruction to special education students in grades 9-12, primary area of instruction is math and science
• Collect and Analyze individual student data and use that information to develop measurable goals and objectives and corresponding lessons
• Apply appropriate knowledge to curriculum content / instruction, plan lessons and align assessment of student learning, monitors students' understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction, materials, or assessments, using data-driven techniques, as appropriate
• Participate in related school meetings which are held for the purpose of improving both curricula and extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with the Team Chair to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) addressing students' needs and function as a liaison / case manager for designated students.
