Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) looking for Caregivers, Health Aides, CNAs, or Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work with individuals with disabilities and help them achieve their goals! These caregivers promote positive self-esteem of individuals in a home setting and in the community through consistent positive interactions, support, encouragement, and unconditional respect of individuals' rights. We have full-time and relief positions available!

Pay Rate $18.20 - $20.20 per hour + based on experience and shift differentials!

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Residential Shifts Available :

Evening : 3 PM to 11 PM (times can fluctuate) - Must have a valid NYS driver's license

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties :

Are you passionate about helping others live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives? As a Residential Caregiver, you'll play a key role in supporting individuals to thrive in their communities. You'll assist with daily activities like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks while ensuring that care plans, medications, and safety guidelines are followed with care. You are also responsible for providing transportation to events and appointments to help individuals with their daily goals.

You'll collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and case managers to enhance the well-being and quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Beyond providing essential care, you'll be a source of encouragement, emotional support, and advocacy-empowering residents to embrace their independence and uphold their rights.

Mozaic, a not-for-profit organization based in the Finger Lakes Region, specializes in providing services and residential facilities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a prominent advocate for supporting and improving the lives of over 2,000 individuals with disabilities in our area.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Qualifications :

A high school diploma or GED

A valid NYS driver's license is required for this role

Experience in developmental disabilities being highly valued. Prior experience as a CNA, health aide, caregiver, or direct support professional (DSP) is also a plus.
