ASIST has another opportunity to support our nation! We are seeking a Mid-Level System Administrator / Integrator with proven experience delivering mission-critical integration for complex, multi-domain DoD environments. You will be part of a team responsible for the administration and integration of advanced geospatial and intelligence platforms. Your work will translate operational and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and forward-looking architectures that align with Army modernization and convergence efforts.
What You'll Do :
- Assist with integration strategies across multi-vendor software stacks and hardware baselines.
- Engage directly with Army stakeholders to refine system requirements, track dependencies, and drive alignment across multiple Army government organizations.
- Provide technical guidance across full system lifecycles — from concept to operational deployment — ensuring rigorous engineering discipline and mission continuity.
- Participate in the development and integration test strategies, manage system validation efforts, and oversee performance tuning and issue resolution for both imagery and geospatial software baselines.
- Support integration efforts and manage complex issues in real-time and driving improvements for interoperability and readiness.
Key Responsibilities :
Support Army systems integration initiatives and geospatial software baselines.Create system-level architecture views, data flow diagrams, and interface designs.Assist with the generation of integration artifacts including test plans, conformance matrices, and cross-domain interface documentation.Interface with senior DoD stakeholders to provide updates, recommendations, and roadmap alignment.Provide expertise in Army's Gold Master baselines and guide transition planning for new software versions.Apply advanced scripting and automation (especially PowerShell) to streamline integration, testing, and configuration management.Contribute to high-level technical decision-making with the mindset of "trust but verify," driving standards across engineering teams and integration workstreams.Deliver consistently under time-sensitive conditions and provide executive-ready briefings, updates, and status reports.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years of experienceDoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) 8140 IAT Level II : CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or GSECHands-on expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, and supporting geospatial toolkits.Experience integrating with Army tactical systems and understanding of Geospatial Engineer (12Y) workflows across Army echelons.Familiarity with Army organizational constructs, GPC operations, and MIB-T system support environments.Knowledge of secure DevSecOps principles and CI / CD pipelines supporting rapid capability deployment.Advanced PowerShell Skills :
Experience integrating PowerShell with system and application layers for real-time diagnostics, patch automation, and configuration baseliningProficient in developing robust, production-level scripts featuring :Data types and keywordsLogic constructsFunctions and modulesData pipeline and parameter bindingText processing and regular expressionsCmdlets and modulesExternal process invocation with output redirection and error checkingConcurrent processing using powershell jobs or runspace poolsAdvanced data handling (XML / JSON)REST API interactionSecure credential handling and error managementCustom logging and diagnostic utilitiesWhy ASIST?
