Concrete Estimator

Location : Lowell, AR

Salary : $70k-$100k

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and quantity of materials and labor required for concrete projects while ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for concrete projects including labor, materials, and overhead.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine project estimates and schedules.
Analyze historical data to improve the accuracy of future estimates.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Participate in project meetings and assist in project bidding processes.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the estimating process.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of concrete materials, costs, and construction methods.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and software.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
