Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal individual will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, monitor and update owners Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Establish the schedule management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs.
- Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor to provide guidance and recommendations for the project.
- Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
- Conduct schedule resource loading and leveling.
- Consolidate contractors schedule to incorporate into IMS.
- Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
- Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action.
- Apply EVM methodology to measure project progress.
- Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule.
- Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
- Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
- Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
- Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all projects stages.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Project / Program specifications :
Project / Program specific responsibilities : This role will be across all data center projects on the client program. In addition to project specific tasks and schedule tracking we will be looking to build consistent schedule tools at a program level. This includes but is not limited to a P6 template with standard durations and sequencing, critical path tracking, etc. This role would include periodic travel to the different project sites.Market sector experience : Data center experience requested but not a requirement, if no DC then experience on large scale projects needed.Software specific requirements : P6, Procore, ACCCertification requirements : PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) or PMI-SP (Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional) desired, CCM / PMP (Certified Construction Manager / Project Management Professional) optionalQualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.Expertise using Primavera P6.Excellent communication skills.Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $150K-$200K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
