Carilion Clinic (CC) and the Department of Surgery, Section of
Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in Roanoke, Virginia are
searching for a BC / BE otolaryngologist to join our growing team of
nine otolaryngologists, seven advanced care practitioners, five
audiologists and one hearing instrument specialist in a
clinic-based, academic program with remarkable opportunities in
teaching, research, and clinical otolaryngology. This is a great
opportunity to join a dynamic, academic multi-specialty group
practice providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care for
adults and children.
Based in the Level-1 763-bed trauma
and academic health center, Carilion Roanoke Memorial
Hospital / Carilion Children’s Hospital, our program provides
comprehensive otolaryngology coverage to over one million people in
a large, rural, multi-state area. Otolaryngology services are also
provided in several other Carilion hospitals, including Carilion
New River Valley Medical Center, Carilion Giles Community Hospital,
and Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. The section operates
clinics in three satellite locations in the region, with plans to
open two additional sites in the future. Clinical pathology is
exceptionally broad, and our otolaryngologists perform the full
breadth of procedures of all levels of complexity.

residency program in the near future. The CC-VTC system stands on
the brink of unprecedented expansion and opportunity through the
burgeoning relationship with Virginia Tech. The position requires
an academic appointment at VTCSOM.
