About The Position We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, starting Jan 1, 2026. The role involves providing advanced care in both PICU and CICU settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality support to pediatric patients and their families. Job Details Location : Wisconsin Start Date : Jan 1, 2026 LOA : 60 days Provider Type Needed : Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Weekday shifts 7a-5p or 4p-7a; weekend shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a; option for 24-hour shifts; 7 days a week, 24-hour coverage Responsibilities and Duties Conduct thorough physical exams and obtain detailed medical histories for pediatric and cardiac intensive care patients Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate Provide education and support to families regarding their child's condition and care plans Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and cohesive patient care Additional Information Must have at least 1 year of experience in PICU and CICU settings Required board certifications : Pediatrics; Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Wisconsin state license required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
