Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery float pool position in Oregon, requiring Epic experience and weekend shifts.

\n \n

Responsibilities

\n

  • Float pool role providing Labor and Delivery care across multiple hospital sites in Oregon
  • Patient ratios are 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 for both day and night shifts
  • Night shifts with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Required to float within and between different hospital locations as assigned
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Every other weekend shift required
  • RNs refusing to float as assigned will have contracts cancelled
  • Completion of assigned educational modules required before and during orientation
  • Completion of an Epic Test Out Module required; additional training will be assigned if not passed
  • One professional reference from a recent Charge, Supervisor, or Manager required
  • No RTO allowed in the first two weeks of assignment; max of 7 days RTO permitted
  • Return staff must have a one-year separation from previous employment

    Requirements

    \n

  • Active OR RN license or proof of application required prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • MFTI certification preferred
  • Previous travel nurse experience preferred
  • Must not reside within 50 miles of any facility location
  • COVID vaccination required with no exemptions
