About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 248-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting on Dec 1, 2025. The role involves day shifts, Monday to Friday, where you will assess and manage conditions for veteran beneficiaries. This position requires a dedicated professional keen on collaborative practice and timely patient care documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess and address acute and chronic conditions in veteran beneficiaries
  • Provide specialty referrals as necessary
  • Collaborate with clinic staff on ordering necessary tests and procedures
  • Maintain timely and accurate patient charting

  • Must be board eligible or board certified
  • Valid New York medical license required
  • Experience with the CPRS EMR system
