We are seeking an experienced Part Time Advanced Practice Provider to join the Surgical, Medical, and Cardiac ICU Team at Lake West Medical Center.  This position will work 10 12 hr. Day / Night shifts over a 6 week schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.  Nurse practitioners must be ACNP.  APP experience required.

Position Summary / Essential Duties :  (Critical-Care)

• Partners with Attending to provide 24 / 7 / 365 medical and surgical management for critical-care service.

Qualifications

Position Requirements :

Demonstrated competence as a practitioner

Effective oral and written communication skills

A variety of technical patient care devices specific to the clinical area

Computers and selected office equipment

\n

Education / Expertise :

Nurse Practitioner :   Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.

Physician Assistant :   Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.

CNS with prescriptive authority

\n

Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT) :

Nurse Practitioner :   BLS required; ACLS preferred; Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio.; Current APRN license to practice in Ohio.

Physician Assistant :   BLS required; ACLS preferred;; NCCPA-Certified.; DEA license
