We’re seeking a talented, full-time Occupational Therapist to join our school-based services team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Professional License Requirements :
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
- Have active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Earn a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
What to expect from this role :
Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.
Evaluate disorders and delays that affect students’ ability to perform daily activities and reach their educational goalsDevelop / improve individual’s ability to independently perform tasksServe as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concernsFacilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational planMaintain appropriate recordsWork in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible studentsEffectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parentsPerform other OT duties / responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and / or certificationEnsure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulationsHow Invo Supports You
