The Income Product Manager serves as an extension of the Eaton Vance / Parametric Municipal team and Institutional Portfolio Managers, with a focus on partnering with Eaton Vance and Morgan Stanley Investment Management distribution businesses. The Eaton Vance / Parametric municipal team is an industry leader with over $75 billion under management across retail and institutional separately managed accounts, open and closed‑end funds, active ETFs, and a private municipal credit fund.
The Income Product Manager ‘owns’ all marketing‑related functions and helps produce investment‑related content contained in pitch books, fact sheets, sales ideas, talking points and RFPs. The Income Product Manager also generates competitive and positioning analysis, assists with investment commentary production, and handles ad hoc attribution and data requests. In addition, the Income Product Manager acts as the first point of contact within the intermediary and institutional marketing channels, coordinates business questions from the field, participates in client / prospect meetings and conducts internal training sessions. He / she also contributes to thought leadership initiatives and investment content across client‑ and market‑facing mediums.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintains a comprehensive and ongoing understanding of assigned municipal investment strategies and markets, serving as a partner with the IPMs.
Oversees the quality and integrity of client‑ and market‑facing investment communications and marketing material.
Serves as a primary interface for investment communications internally and externally and responds to product‑related questions and data requests.
Provides sales and marketing support for assigned investment products, develops materials and talking points and provides investment input for marketing programs.
Reviews RFP content and proofreads investment‑related communications and pitch books.
Assists with the creation of presentation materials for sales meetings and client requests.
Responds to ad hoc requests for portfolio attribution, characteristics, holdings, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years related fixed income experience with an investment manager.
Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and SMA products. Municipal experience preferred.
FINRA Series 7 & 65 / 66 required or obtained within 6 months of hire date.
Highly effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
Strong technical skills : Factset, Zephyr, eVestment, Morningstar Direct preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
CFA or progress toward CFA strongly preferred.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley‑sponsored benefit programs.
