Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant - Athletic Administration, Creative Video on the Dahlonega campus. This position will assist with athletic communications and broadcasts for the Athletic Department. This position will include a tuition waiver.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit and produce video content for social media, web, in-venue displays and promotional campaigns. These include raw video footage as well as animated and motion content.
• Assist with game day video production, including highlights, hype videos and feature storytelling.
• Contribute to the creative social media strategy ideas for short-form and long-form video.
• Maintain and organize video assets, footage libraries and project files.
• Assist in the scheduling, training, and leading of the student work staff on game days.
• Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director, Communications & Marketing.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is recommended

Required Qualifications

• Must currently have, or will obtain by the start date a Bachelor's Degree.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate credit hours by start date.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former NCAA athlete or experience in college athletics is preferred.
• Previous experience working with video equipment and video editing programs is preferred.
