Make a difference as a Resident Care Assistant

As a new Resident Care Assistant at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow, MA, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties include helping residents with grooming, meals, and medication reminders, as well as engaging them in social activities to promote a sense of community within our assisted living facility. You will work closely with the nursing staff to monitor residents' health and report any changes in their condition promptly.

Training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver exceptional care to our residents. This role is perfect for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors.

Are you the Resident Care Assistant we're looking for?

To excel as a Resident Care Assistant at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow, MA, you must possess a valid HHA certificate, CNA certificate, or license, and a PCA certificate. These certifications demonstrate your commitment to providing quality care to our residents. Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in building rapport with residents and their families. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team are crucial for coordinating care plans and ensuring residents' needs are met.
