  • We are seeking a Contract Licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech therapy, and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the communication abilities of children. As a Contract Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in pediatric patients, while collaborating with psychologists, educators, and families to support early intervention strategies.

    • Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language capabilities, identifying areas of need.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and best practices in speech therapy.
    • Provide direct speech therapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to each child's unique needs.
    • Collaborate with clinicians, teachers, and other educational staff to implement strategies that support students' communication goals within the classroom environment.
    • Educate families about speech and language development, providing resources and guidance for home practice.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards.
    • Stay informed about advancements in speech therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and progress in their communication skills.
    • Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
    • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is essential.
    • Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with early intervention strategies and techniques for addressing communication delays in children.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and educational professionals.
    • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans accordingly.

      Pay : $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

      Expected hours : 3 - 5 per week

      Work Location : In person
