CPC Certified Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Medical Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple coding related projects ensuring compliance with standards and timely deliverables

Stay updated on coding guidelines and assign appropriate codes for office visits, procedures, and diagnoses

Collaborate with the Medicare Risk Operations team to achieve positive program outcomes

Required Qualifications

2+ years as a Profee Coder in an office setting, including risk adjustment coder experience

1+ year experience in Medicare / Medicare Advantage

CPC certification through AAPC or CCS certification through AHIMA required

CRC certification must be obtained within one year of hire

Strong experience in Microsoft or Google suite, particularly in spreadsheets and PowerPoint
