Job Details

A Commercial Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations of construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project needs and set performance goals
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various trades and stakeholders
  • Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies promptly and effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs and progress reports
  • Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate with local authorities for necessary permits and inspections
  • Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience in k-12, higher ed and healthcare projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project)
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
