Facility Type : Community Hospital, 90 beds

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 7 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00 AM – 07 : 30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

On-Call : Required

Charting System : Paragon

Equipment : Olympus and Stryker (Heavy Orthopedic focus)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active New York State RN license

Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience

Orthopedic OR experience required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification at time of submission

6 CEUs on stroke-related topics prior to start

Travel nursing experience preferred

COVID-19 vaccine : proof or declination accepted

Flu vaccine or declination required (mask required if declining)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to surgical patients in the operating room

Assist with orthopedic procedures using Olympus and Stryker equipment

Participate in on-call rotation as required

Document patient care in Paragon charting system

Collaborate with the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulatory standards

Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
