Position Summary

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Underground utility construction experience required
• Must be willing to be on the road constantly, lodging and food paid for by the company
• Must be well versed in OSHA regulations
• Develop and implement a safe work environment
• Maintain a safe workplace and ensure best practices
• Developing and executing safety plans
• Comply with company policies while following safety practices and procedures
• Organize and plan the work with the Superintendent
• Direct oversight responsibility of daily reports complete with quantities worked
• Review, maintain, and monitor pipe crew’s productivity and goals daily
• Enforce quality control and Company safety policies on all aspects of the work
• Follows the project construction process to ensure that work is completed on time
• Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Tool Box Talk with crew
• Provide job hazard analysis prior to new work activities
• Positive attitude, customer service skills and good communication abilities
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to complete and pass a drug screening and background check
• Valid Florida driver’s license, with a clean driving record for the past 3 years; we will conduct an MVR check
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
