Job Description

The R&D Quality Seed Technician will support global R&D for seeds and traits by engaging in all aspects of small material manufacturing and production. This includes indoor material processing and packaging activities such as receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling, and shipping. The role also involves operating equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures within a lab or warehouse environment.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in an R&D production facility with flexible shifts. Candidates may work on a schedule dependent on project needs, with the first shift starting around 6 AM and lasting 8-10 hours, and the second shift starting at 11 AM. Work weeks range from 40-50 hours, with overtime sometimes required. The facility offers time off for holiday weeks, and PTO is being added this year, with 5 days available but not usable during certain windows. The position requires the ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with the possibility of extended hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 / hr.
