Job Details
A well-established litigation firm with a strong focus in property and casualty defense is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to support expanding litigation needs in Texas. This position will focus on defending clients in property and auto liability matters. The role is fully remote, though preference will be given to candidates based in or near the Houston area.
Key Responsibilities :
Defend clients in a range of general liability cases, including premises liability, property damage, and auto-related claims.
Handle cases from inception through resolution, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with firm leadership and clients.
Maintain communication with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient and responsive case management.
Qualifications :
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Texas.
3+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on property liability and / or auto liability defense.
Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage a caseload independently in a remote work environment.
Additional Details :
Fully remote position with flexibility in location within Texas.
Preference for attorneys based in the Houston area for occasional in-person training or collaboration.
