About The Position

Job Title : Technologist

Job Specialty : Ultrasound Tech

Job Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 8-hour Day Shift

Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per Week

Experience : Minimum five years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required. Two years of experience as a Mammography Lead preferred.

License : Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(M) license required.

Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Must-Have : High School Graduate or equivalent required. Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology. BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.

Job Description :

• Provide diagnostic mammography services under the direction of the Mammography Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g., The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR).
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relate effectively to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as interact well with the public.
• Demonstrate radiation protection / safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Perform examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner to favorably promote the services offered.
• Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
