SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Manufacturing to join our steel structural tubing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process from start to finish, including planning, budgeting for capex and opex, quality control and continuous improvement, materials procurement, labor management, including health and safety and establishing all business systems and processes related to productivity, quality, and material requirements planning .

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans to improve production efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Budgeting : Manage CAPEX and OPEX budget for the manufacturing department, including labor costs, supplies, raw material and maintenance.
• Inventory Management : Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished products
• Quality : Drive first time quality culture, processes and initiatives within all aspects of the manufacturing process.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Process Management : Establish, implement, and monitor all business processes related to productivity, quality, and MRP.
• Forecasting : Coordinating with Sales and Marketing to ensure production planning goals align with customer and business demands
• Leadership : Lead, motivate, and develop an operational and technical team to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Labor Management : Build a high performing team and ensure all operator procedures and processes from production to health and safety are in place and functioning effectively.
