About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Founding Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development of a core service with a focus on geospatial services and cross-platform mobile applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the CEO, Product Manager, and end-users to architect and implement technology solutions, leading the development of both frontend and backend services, and contributing to the data strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech visionary to help disrupt the commercial real estate industry by building a service that meets the current needs of the company and has the potential for externalization to other commercial real estate businesses. Applicants for the CTO / Founding Engineer position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. Proficiency in building modern, interactive experiences for mobile applications, particularly using React Native or similar frameworks, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in mobile app development (Android or iOS), familiarity with GIS-based applications, and a dedication to producing well-tested, modular, and maintainable code. Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills are also a must, as the role demands close interaction with product and design teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
