Job description

Albany Services is looking to hire a highly motivated, hardworking Field Team Member to join our team in the installation of field tile systems. In this role, you will as part of a team to implement efficient water management solutions for agricultural fields. This position requires hands-on labor, attention to detail, and the ability to operate machinery in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation of field tile drainage systems, including excavation, pipe placement, and backfilling.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools, such as trenchers, excavators, and laser grading systems.
  • Operate GPS grade control systems for project surveying and installation.
  • Follow site plans and specifications to ensure proper drainage system installation.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction, agriculture, or field drainage is preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment or willingness to learn.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of grading, leveling, and drainage principles is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license.
