Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Must have South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM

Must-Have :

• High-risk antepartum experience
• Experience in teaching hospital
• Familiarity with Triage and high-risk deliveries
• Experience with recovering C-sections

Description :

Position for a Labor and Delivery RN with a day shift.

The anticipated patient ratio is 1 : 2.

On-call is required for 12 hours per 4-week period.

The traveler will not need to float between units.

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

All required time off must be disclosed upon submission.

The facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

This is a Level I Trauma Center and a Teaching Facility.

The unit has a total of 21 rooms with 17 staffed beds.

Daily census is approximately 12 patients.

Additional interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Social Services.

Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season.

Hurricane season runs from June through November.

The position requires compliance with all pre-start requirements.

All candidates must meet eligibility criteria before being cleared for the position.
