Temporary Procurement Assistant (3–4 Month Contract)

Pay Rate : $19 / hour

Location : Schaumburg IL

Department : Procurement

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

About the Role :

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Procurement Assistant to support our Procurement team. This role mirrors our current Customer Service temp positions but will be embedded within the Procurement department. The assignment is expected to last 3–4 months.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with basic procurement functions on the direct side.
• Review and correct order errors caused by data mismatches before resubmitting to suppliers.
• Support general administrative and process-related tasks as needed.

Training :

One week of training focused on the core “unfits” process.

Required Skills :

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, data entry).

Adheres to SOPs and task guidelines.

Learns workflows quickly and understands process dependencies.

Works independently after training.

Identifies and escalates data irregularities.
