Responsibilities Work in an 18-plus bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with telemetry monitoring Care for progressive care and telemetry patient populations 12-hour night shifts, five days per week Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required Epic EMR experience is preferred Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and care planning Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate patient and family education Participate in clinical supervision of LPNs and assistive personnel Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia testing will be conducted on-site during orientation Candidates who do not pass the BCA test after one retake will be released from assignment First-time travelers will not be considered; prior travel assignment required Requirements Active NM or compact RN license required Minimum two years of current PCU / telemetry experience in units with 18 or more beds Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required NIHSS certification required Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required Must pass Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) assessment prior to or during the first week; one retake only allowed No local candidates within 50 miles Must wait one year after permanent employment to return as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624395.
