Digital Systems & Product Lifecycle Management Manager – (Perm) – Hybrid (3-days) – Northwest New York
Food Manufacturer seeks a Digital Systems & Product Lifecycle Management Manager to lead initiatives and operationalize / optimize recipe management within the digital and PLM environment. This person will partner with other leadership to develop operational models ensuring a seamless integration between ERP, PLM, and LIMS. Additionally, this person will support the user community by creating training materials for ongoing education regarding R&D. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years in R&D process workflows and digital system experience, to include knowledge of Speed to Market business processes; expertise with PLM ecosystems to include expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (with a preference for SAP PL); ERP expertise (preference for SAP Hana) and knowledge of LIMS (desired but not required). Additionally, this individual will have 2+ years management experience, with prior Food / Beverage Manufacturing experience to include extensive workflow knowledge. Requirements
- USC / GC Holder work authorization; located within the US.
- Ability to be onsite 3 days weekly in northwest New York, residing locally (meaning a local or relocated candidate)
- 5+ years in R&D process workflows and digital systems, including knowledge of Speed to Market business processes.
- 2+ years management experience.
- Prior Food / Beverage Manufacturing experience to include extensive workflow knowledge.
- Experience with PLM ecosystems to include expertise in Product Lifecycle Management, with a preference for SAP PLM.
- Experience with ERPs, with a preference for SAP Hana.
- Expertise leading complex projects within a cross-functional environment while delivering significant results.
- Comprehensive B2B / B2C product lines within R&D environment and projects, with working knowledge of production facilities manufacturing and those product lines.
- Knowledge of LIMS is desired but not required.
Responsibilities
Leading initiatives, operationalizing, and optimizing recipe management in Digital / PLM environment.Partnering with other leadership to develop operational models ensuring seamless integration between ERP, PLM, and LIMS.Supporting the user community by creating training materials for ongoing education regarding R&D.Serving as PLM liaison for acquisitions and special projects to bring expertise within PLM processes and workflows and to drive initiatives from this perspective.Serving as SME representing R&D / technical domains with PLM interdependencies like ERP and STM.Managing associate level staff contributing to the organization's Digital Center of Excellence.Supporting ERP transformation from current PLM standpoint, while ensuring seamless PLM integration with S4Hana.Integrating digital tools and technologies including AI, IoT, and digital Twins across operations, driving improvements in efficiency, food safety, sustainability, and supply chain visibility.Serving as line manager to Global PLM specialist team to include analysts.Supporting PLM Transformation scoping and shaping in service of system modernization to include due diligence, gap assessment incentives, and inputs fitting purpose of specifications.Troubleshooting PLM in support of PLM Team, Ric and STM and various plants to ensure business continuity regarding workflows.Working with various resources to develop new workflows and maintaining / improving existing.Creating and building PLM training materials and training with the RIC organization.Serving as SME from a PLM perspective regarding Mergers and Acquisitions.Benefits
