Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Burn ICU position, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Burn Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Work in a hospital setting with burn patient population
  • Night shift from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Use Cerner EMR for patient documentation
  • Scrub color is ceil blue
  • Provide specialized critical care to burn patients in the ICU
  • All Ascension positions are offered automatically upon meeting requirements
  • Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
  • Covid vaccination is not required
  • Candidates should only apply to one Ascension position system wide at a time
  • Ceil blue scrubs are required for this assignment

    • Requirements

  • Active RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Minimum 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification highly preferred
  • MOAB or CPI De-Escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 Hours) preferred
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Copy of driver’s license required
  • License / certificate primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
