Description :

We are seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse for day shifts.

This position involves a 3x12 schedule from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 2.

Every other weekend is required for this role.

On-call shifts will include two weekday PM call shifts and one additional PM call shift every four weeks.

Float requirements do not apply for this position.

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of acute dialysis experience.

First-time travelers are accepted for this role.

A South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be secured prior to the start date.

BLS certification is mandatory, while ACLS is preferred.

Preferred equipment experience includes Fresenius 2008T and Mobile Reverse Osmosis Machines.

The daily patient census ranges from 20 to 25 patients.

The unit provides care for patients with end-stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, and pre / post-kidney transplant.

Special procedures include adult and pediatric hemodialysis as well as peritoneal dialysis.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including interpretation services and rapid response teams.

Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.

This role may require the ability to complete pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date.
