Job Title : Assembly Technician

Job Description

As an Assembly Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the production line, ensuring the correct assembly and testing of products. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to assemble units, following strict guidelines to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics
• Identify and record defect data for non-working assemblies.
• Assemble electronic / electro-mechanical units
• Follow work instructions proper product assembly.
• Monitor assembly line machinery and tools for proper functionality.
• Visually inspect and / or test finished products
• Load and unload components into fixtures and machines.
• Package finished products into boxes

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment that is temperature controlled year-round, ensuring a clean and bright workspace. The facility operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday. During peak summer periods, overtime is mandatory, with the possibility of working 1-2 Saturdays per month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
