Service area of 50,000 people Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed position Currently 3 Urologists on staff They do primarily bread and butter cases, cystoscopy, lase lithotripsy, some nephrectomies and ESWL Shared moderate call (on average 10 days or so a month) Block scheduled time in the OR and designated clinic days Office building is located adjacent to the hospital, so it is very convenient to round on your patients and such before clinic

Has most specialties, including : General Surgery, GI, Pulmonology, Urology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics, Nephrology, OBGYN, Podiatry and more A 32-bed open ICU 24-bed Emergency Department 9 Operating Rooms Trialed the Da Vinci a few years back, but it was not used very much by physicians. It might be something we would consider in the future however Medical students from the University of Pikeville School of Osteopathic Medicine and Lincoln Memorial University do rotations A family practice residency program through the University of Kentucky and are currently exploring a surgical residency program Community : Located in beautiful southeastern Kentucky, Hazard is known as the "Queen City of the Mountains."
